My Favorite Chocolate Frosting

I love chocolate, and this frosting always satisfies my chocolate cravings.  With only five ingredients, this frosting is simply delicious.  It is perfect on cupcakes and cakes or just on a spoon.  My favorite way to eat it is with a spoon after it has been in the fridge.  Once cold, this frosting turns into a fudge-like dessert, which is absolutely perfect.

Tip:  Beat the frosting on high in your electric mixer.  Don't be afraid to turn up the speed and just let it go for a minute.  This will ensure a light and smooth frosting.

Ingredients:

6 Tbs. butter (room temperature)
1 lb. powdered sugar
1/4 c. milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
4 Tbs. cocoa powder.

Directions:

1. In a KitchenAid (or electric mixer), whisk the butter until creamed.  
2. Add half of the powdered sugar and mix on high.  
3. Add the milk, vanilla and continue mixing.  
4. Add remaining sugar with cocoa powder.  
5. Beat on high until smooth.  Enjoy!
